There are no standard rules when it comes to designing your logo; however, there are some guiding principles for effective logo design.

Whether you’re considering revamping your logo or you’re finally ready to take your brand to the next level, going forward you should consider the following:
- Simple is better. The most recognizable and memorable logos are those which are streamlined and simple.
- Keep it relevant. Build brand recognition by using creative ways to communicate the purpose of your business.
- Check out your competitors. Your logo should be independent and unique when compared with your competitors.
- Versatility is key. Make sure that your logo looks good whether it’s as small as a screw head or a big as a wooden spool.

The logos are simpler in design in this tool – so it’s great if you want to focus your logo around a particular topic. All you have to do is search the keyword and choose from the images. Opt to add text and then download. For this tool you don’t even have to register unless you want a high resolution image (at a cost of course but the low resolution one is more than sufficient).
